back to the xanga world!

I have not updated this site for about two years. But since my JP CLSF family is now linked to this site, I am now encouraged to update it. I am a little lazy on blogging and updating sites. My husband is good at that. He's got one too. You can check his site at
www.xanga.com/chinaman777.

We are in the States right now. We are here to raise funds for the ministry, work on my dual citizenship and establish a non-profit organization. We are almost through with all these, it has been a lot of process but God's grace is always upon us providing people along the way to help us.

Since the ministry that God entrusted to us in a close country, we are changing the name to:

"WITHIN REACH" Global

We established this non-profit organization for the purpose of giving the bigger body of Christ more opportunity to give and support financially easily. We believe that the Great Commission is doable, it is possible and we can all do it as long as we depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and work together as a body of Christ.

We are still in the process of making a website for the ministry. For now, we will be updating weblog once in a while for everyone to see what is happening in that side of the world. We are excited to go back to the Philippines for the CLSF, our home church in the Philippines, silver anniversary. Yeyyyy!!!! God is so good to all of us! He is using CLSF to impact nations!

let me share with you what the chinese doctors said about our friend divine who had a stroke about seven weeks ago:

possibility 1: she will be dying in few weeks
possibilty 2: she may be revived but in a vegetative state
possbility 3: she may be revived but paralyzed on the left side of her body and that her mental functioning will not be back to normal.

and she was in coma for about four weeks.

today i went to the hospital. she can open her eyes, talk, eat and move! she remembers everything like american and philippine independence day, her birthday, christmas day, and everyone's names!

all the doctors said was proven wrong. but all the things we know in the Word is true.

we believed that  she will be healed and in Him nothing is impossible! amazing isnt it?

to all the Filipinos out there...

Happy 108th Independence Day!

we are going to have a dinner party at our house tonight with all the filipinos who live in our city. right now we are about 30 filipinos in kunming who are doing the father's business.

it is just amazing to know the history about this independence day:

Ferdinand Magellan claimed the Philippines for Spain in 1521 and for the next 377 years the islands were under Spanish rule. This period was the era of conversion to Roman Catholicism. A Spanish colonial social system was developed complete with a strong centralized government and considerable clerical influence. The Filipinos were restive under the Spanish and this long period was marked by numerous uprisings. The most important of these began in 1896 under the leadership of Emilio Aguinaldo and continued until the Americans defeated the Spanish fleet in Manila Bay on May 1 1898 during the Spanish-American War. Aguinaldo declared independence from Spain on June 12 1898.

PTL for americans! i'm blessed to be married to an american!

the good week we had...

last week has been a busy but a good week for us. we finally got a place as a training center in our city. we set up the whole place, bought all the supplies, furnitures, etc. we did this all without a support on hand yet. we believed that there would be provision! and there it was! someone emailed us the same week we took a step of faith. she said their organization will support this center for four years! PTL! we had some trainings for the new believers. shared about the HS and they were all filled and spoke in other language! we sang only one song after that we just asked for the infilling. afterwards we were all filled! amazing!

now a week full of challenge...

this week started with stress and challenge but still good. we have an M friend here who had a cerebrovascular accident or stroke . we received a call last sunday, 11:00PM. we rushed to her house and found her left side paralyzed and could not move at all. we got an ambulance and rushed her to the hospital. we found out that her right brain had the hemorrhage (5 x 2.2 cm in size) that is why left side is affected. we and other M friends here stand as her family. her family back home can't come and so we represent them for her. today we had the toughest day. because according to her second CT scan this morning, she need to be operated right away. her hemorrhage is becoming bigger and affecting almost half of the right side of her brain. we asked the group of surgeons about her chance of survival after the surgery, they all said it is not sure at all. so we, her friends, fellowship here and the family back home all had a unanimous decision for her not to undergo surgery. we have to believe that she is going to be healed even without operation. in Him we are sure there is hope, there is healing!

please lift her up! her name is divine tumala, 62 years old filipino. she has been serving in His vineyard in china for more than 5 years now. she has led a number of young people to Him. she is an awesome woman! we believe her healing!

"his kingdom is forcefully advancing, and forceful man lay hold of it!"

i love this verse from the book of matthew! its just amazing to watch things happen, to watch His kingdom advance! and Him using us! every week i train some ladies i met a year ago. now they are growing in Him and are serious in serving Him all their life! its great to know that they represent four different minority groups. as they graduate this year, they will go back to their home towns and start sharing to their families! yesterday, together with some other locals, we dunk them on our tub and celebrated with them! this week we are looking for a place for a training center. we are getting ready for growth and expansion! lift us up on this.
